Will this work on a straigther and curling null

My gf used it for the blow dryer and for some reason it didn’t work. I’d used it just for charging your devices and nothing else.

It worked on my straightener in Bali, Indonesia. But it didn’t protect my hair dryer & my hair dryer was fried.
