I use my Targus 4 port USB hub with my Surface Pro which only has 1 USB port. I don't have a keyboard (it's attached to the Surface Pro), but I plug a blue tooth mouse and 2 250GB SS drives and/or Flash drives into the hub to load and download data and images.
