“I know the streaming apps will have captioning, but is it available on the over the air channels? It's not a deal breaker but I'm finding if I want it, I have to go for higher priced brands, which is ridiculous for something that is usually standard.”

Hello, Our TCL Android TVs do indeed support Closed Captioning for over the air content. Of course the source must be encoded with the closed captioning information, as most are. -TCL US Support
