“Will the tv speakers be muted if earbuds are connected to the audio output optical port?”

• Probably not. I have my optical output connected to my receiver and it does not mute the TV speakers.

• Using the Optical Out port does not mute the TV speakers. However, the TV was not designed to use both outputs at the same time and there may be a variable amount of echo. Some customers choose to mute the TV speakers when using the Optical Out port to avoid this. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
