Regarding the distorted sound when first turned on......I had the HDMI cable in Port 3 and it should have been in Port 1 or 2. The set now works great, both picture and sound.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is this using a source like a cable box? If so, check to see if that is set to digital audio output, or analog. Try switching it to see if that makes a difference. If you have this happen without using an external source, I don't have a good answer for you.
