Do you recommend this as a tv to use with cable box? Equal in quality to Samsung? I see many people using it as a computer monitor....is that a negative in terms of using it as a primary TV? null

nothing wrong with using it as a TV that is what it is designed for. It is not designed to be used as a computer monitor, although it will work.
