“I had a sound bar hooked to this TV but when I mute the TV the sound bar does not mute, just the TV speakers. Is there something I can do to change this?”

In order to be able to control your soundbar with the TV remote it would need to be connected through the HDMI ARC port and CEC settings enabled. CEC settings can be found by going to Home>Settings>System>Control Other Devices(CEC). Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the sound bar is attached via HDMI only and you are using the TV remote to mute the sound bar, it will not mute. If the sound bar supports USB integration and is also attached to the USB port on the TV, it will mute with the TV remote. Otherwise, the best way to mute the sound bar, is to control it with the remote that came with it (assuming it came with a remote). Good luck and happy watching!
