A:AnswerIn order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at start up and still access all of the inputs. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
A:AnswerMy NEW TCL 50" Roku cannot receive Local OTA signals. I have tried THREE digital amplified antennas, and STILL CANNOT receive all the local channels clearly. Is this a typical TCL problem? The company replaced the original TV because it's receiver failed altogether. The NEW TCL replacement is better, but still does not receive all channels! I'm VERY unhappy..
As of Dec 2019, if you do not currently have the Spectrum app installed, you will not be able to install the Spectrum app on a TCL TV, or Roku product. Contract issue.
See Spectrum.net/roku for more info.
A:AnswerThere is not a physical button for it, but there is an option for it. Simply press the asterisk (*) button on your TCL Roku TV remote, highlight the sleep time option, and choose how long you want to set it for (30minutes-3hours). Thank you, TCL Customer Support
