A: Yes Best Buy DID NOT honor the "installation included" on the order form. They wanted an extra $200+ to install in my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan. I ordered online and made an appointment at the Trumbull store for the "Included Installation". Upon arriving they refused to do the install at that appointment and wanted the extra money. The next available appointment was FIFTY day into the future! I spoke with the manager to no avail. I returned the remote starter for a refund. Very poor way to do business Best Buy!!!
Q: Can the remote that comes with this be used in place of the key that came with my car?
A: The remote can be used to lock and unlock the door as well as start the vehicle. The key must be used to put in the ignition on position for the vehicle to keep running once the brake is engaged.
