If you're watching through a cable box, make sure that it is set to 1080p. If not, everything will come through as 720p.

Please try again later.This question is under a TCL TV, whenit should be under Hisense, To answer your question, display on the remote will show you what the program is being displayed in. You said in your question that it displayed 720p 60hz, well that’s what it is. If it was 1080p and 120hz, it would show it.
