We just bought a TCL 40S325 Roku Smart TV for my aged mother. We simply need the tv to automatically turn on at 5:00pm and turn off at 9:00pm, same channel. Very simple. This is a "smart" TV. How can we program this basic simple function? null

This TCL Roku TV is indeed a smart TV has it has the ability to connect to the Internet and allows streaming and other smart features. It does not feature an "ON" timer like an alarm clock. You would need to power on the TV manually. Additionally, there is a sleep timer that can be found in the Options menu by pressing the asterisk (*) button while watching content. Hope this helps!
