“Would the tv function normally If you cover the white light at the bottom with say a piece of electrical tape? I'm going to be putting this close to my bed and do not want to be bothered at night by it.”

• If you go into setting and "allow voice commands when tv screen is off" - the light goes out now after 10 minutes or so after you turn the tv off.

• When I saw this post I tried painters tape blue and the TV remote still worked. It also dimed down the bright blue. Good question.
