Its a good tv for my needs. I don't game or watch sports but i do have trouble hearing the voices on most tvs and this one is much better than most. The picture is bright and it connects to 5G home wifi just fine. My only complaint would be the light on the bottom of the tv is VERRRRRY bright. If you are not putting this in a bedroom don't worry about it. But for me its about 5 feet from my bed it bothers me at night :(

I needed a monitor for my computer to review construction drawings. This TV did not disappoint. Great color, easy setup, and very responsive. I can’t say much about the audio or the smart features, as I don’t use them at all. However I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, and will be considering buying a TCL in the future for the master bedroom

The TCL-40" Class S3 S-Class 1080p FHD LED Smart TV with Fire TV is an excellent TV. The set up was easy. The picture quality is excellent. The Audio is great. You can download Apps. You can watch live TV. It came with a Fire remote that has a microphone attached to it that you could speak into. It's an overall great quality television.

Best Buy Open Box deal of a lifetime on this tv for $34 with tax! Ordered online and picked up at the Marlton NJ outlet. No box, but the helpful staff wrapped in bubble wrap. Even the one employee was saying what a crazy deal this was. Unit was flawless, just missing the legs, which I didn't need for my application on a rolling stand. Added the new mini Insignia soundbar, see my photo. Negatives are tinny sound quality, which was fixed with the $28 open box soundbar, and only has 1080p resolution. That said, I dare you to tell the difference six feet away vs. 4K unless you are showing crazy graphics, etc. The Fire interface is the best IMHO, and I see the new model of this TV has switched to Google.

It’s the perfect size for the spot on my stand. It has great sound and picture I love that’s it’s a fire tv and doesn’t have the separate stick that you have to purchase separately. I got it for my bf for Christmas and it was a great price for all that it comes with.

Overall very good Television especially for the price. First television I received had an internal crack but it was replaced promptly. The picture is clear and the sound is very good and perfect size for my son’s room. Would definitely recommend

This aas my first TCL Tv purchase and i have to say i was impressed with it's ease of use and speed navigating through apps. I bought this for my father's automotive business and installing this on the wall was very easy compared to other Tvs because it is very light!

Excellent TV, picture quality is great for the size. Easy to mount for one person

It is sad how far the quality of TVs has fallen in the past decade. We bought this to replace a Sony 32" TV from around the turn of the century with a bad infrared receiver board, and installed it in the same spot as the old one. We ran into two big headaches. First, there was no way to install it on the TV stand, because the new one has these sad little legs that are all the way out at the ends, which means it drops off the edge on both sides by about an inch. I'm not sure when all the manufacturers stopped selling TVs with pedestals, but it is really annoying to have to buy a VESA pedestal mount for just about every TV that we buy. Second, the sound on this TV is the worst I've heard in a TV in decades. It sounds like AM radio - no highs, no lows. Everything is incredibly muddy. Think 5-inch portable TV from 1986 with a single 2-inch mono speaker on the side, and you're in the right ballpark. Just assume that the very first thing you'll do when you buy this TV is drop another hundred bucks on a sound bar just to get audio that anyone can stand.

It is a very good tv, is also my first tv. I like it alot, it is a very good size and sits well on my dresser. It was very easy to set up and has pretty much everything.

The TV has been great. It was easy to setup and has a great picture. I got it during the Black Friday sales so the price point was great. This is a bedroom TV.
