Yes you could but with all the apps available on the TV there may not be a need. Unless there is an app you want that is available on the express that's not on the TV there probably isn't a need to add the stick. I have both Fire and Roku TVs and both have all the apps I use on both but there could be some differences I'm not aware of.

I'm not familiar with Roku express but fire tv should do the same thing
