• Yes we did. When we first got this tv we had Comcast cable tv. We easily hooked the cable box up to the TV both on this tv and 2 other TCL tv’s we own. Comcast also has an app that allows you to watch the cable tv on this tv with out any cable box and with out having to hook anything up. We switched to watching the cable tv through the Comcast app and that was very easy. My understanding is that Roku allows you to access that Comcast app but other systems do not. Our area only allows Comcast so I have not tried to connect any other cable tv brands with this tv. We have since gotten rid of cable (we save a TON of money each month) and just watch live tv on the tv apps that use your WiFi connection.
