Pleasantly surprised
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work in television and bought this for a guest bedroom because it was cheap. I always thought of TCL as a low end TV. I have a Sony in our living room, a Sony in our master bedroom and a Visio in my home office. I really wasn't expecting much from a $259 50" 4K TV, but was totally impressed. The picture looks amazingly good and BONUS...it has ROKU built in. The menus are well thought out and easy to use, and the picture is better than my Visio, and pretty close to my Sony's. Time will tell how it does in the long run, but I would recommend this TV, and would surely buy one again in a second.

Noice
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a good tv for a start, would recommend getting a Samsung or LG TV for better crisp image than something that is very under powered and low frame rate. works good as a standard 1080p tv but needs some improvement. I used this tv as a secondary monitor but it tends to put out a lag input I wouldn't recommend using as a second monitor. It works good for streaming or console gaming. I have nothing really to say about this tv but it's a very decent price for a standard TV.

Good 4K tv for the $$
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this TV because it fit perfectly in our children’s den area. They are able to watch TV and watch 4K Blu-ray movies. The picture is very good for an off brand. I was pleasantly surprised. The streaming Roku service is very easy to use and the remote has been extremely easy to navigate. I give it 4 stars because the kids have to select the source at the beginning of viewing each time they turn on the tv. Just an extra step, they don’t mind but I’m not used to that. Overall - very good tv that has met our need as a family.

Perfect First TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started living on my own for the first time this year and needed to purchase my own furniture and TV. I hadn't owned a TV in years and finally got tired of watching everything on my computer. I spent a lot of time reading reviews before I purchased anything and I'm very happy I decided to go with this TV! It's easy to set up and use, has great display and sound, and is super affordable. For my first TV, I could not be happier with the choice I made!

Nice tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv looks great easy to set up all features work properly I hooked it up to a sound bar so I have no idea what the tv actually sounds like 4K looks nice on this tv haven’t had any issues streaming comes with an RCA adapter and yes you can hook up the Super Nintendo straight to it my only complaint with this tv is that I had to add a smart plug to it to completely kill all power otherwise she keeps turning on the sound bar by itself and she won’t shut off power to the usb plug so if you add an LED strip light YOU have too either get a smart plug or one that you can turn on and off other than that tv is very nice for the price !!
