“Is there a way when you power on the tv it will just automatically go to the cox cable without having to select which input you want to watch ?”

Absolutely! In order to do this you would go to Home>Settings>System>Power>Power on>Select the input that you would like the TV to power on to. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
