- Answer In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. QuestionI have cox cable looking to cutting most of the service except internet since this tv offers a lot of programs also roku is this a good idea. Also are most apps already in the smart tv ;paying too much for cox cable.

QuestionFor the TCL 55S425 Model, the back of the tv shows two wall mount holes on the bottom with two screws already in place above them. Per most brackets needing top and bottom support, are the top screws allowed to be removed/replaced/used for the tv mounts?

- Answer There are a total of 4 mounting holes. 2 of them have screws in them, and should be removed. We recommend using the appropriate M6 screws that come in most mounting bracket screw kits. QuestionHas anyone had a TCL 55 series last for more than 2 years? I’m reading all these positive reviews, but how long have these people been using it before they review? Yeah sure, it’s wonderful for that first year, but 18 months in and the led strips burn out

- Answer I have a friend that has had hers for three years the same size I got. Was going to go with a Samsung until I heard all the bad things about that brand. She told me that that was what she had before the TCL, that one lasted 2 years.
