• You need to reset the TV and select HOME mode when setting up. Somehow the tv got set up for store-use and will continue to show the side menu.

• It sounds like the TV may be in "store mode". You would first want to reset the TV and select "Home use" during the initial setup. For the picture size, this setting can be found in the Options menu by pressing the asterisk (*) button on the remote while viewing content. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
