So the thing is... TVs are measured bottom left corner to top right corner, or diagonally, across the screen. Soo... Remember Geometry class in high school. A^2 + B^2 = C^2 Well you have to use that to figure it out. The TV is 28.1" by 48.4". So 28.1^2 is 789.61 and 48.4^2 is 2342.56. Added together that is 3132.17. Now you take the square root of that and you have 55.967 inches. So you are actually getting a 55.967 inch TV for the price of a 55 inch, almost a full inch bigger for FREE.
