Yes, easy to configure a WiFi connection and seems to work perfectly as long as you have a stable network. I tethered mine via Ethernet, personal preference.

In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

Absolutely. My daughter is a cord cutter with this TCL TV. Initial setup connects to the Wifi, and the underlying Roku OS supplies you with access to a huge set of apps. We use Netflix, YoutubeTV, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+, to name a few. Roku also supplies some movies in its own app. There is no physical connection other than the power plug (and occasionally a DVD player to get to some old DVDs).
