A:AnswerThis TCL Roku TV has a coaxial located on the back of the TV near the other inputs. By connecting an antenna you can receive over-the-air channels. However, the reception depends on the signal strength. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
A:AnswerWhile the manual says mount the legs facing out, you can reverse them and have them facing in. This makes the minimum surface to sit it on 36" wide. It appears just as stable with the legs reversed an the legs mounted normally.
My stand was too small so I reversed the legs, it fits my stand and is just fine.
A:AnswerBoth series include a built in Roku operating system, 4K UHD, and HDR Support. The 6-Series builds on this and has additional features such as Dolby Vision, wide color gamut, HDR Dynamic Contrast, etc. For more information you can go to www.tclusa.com/products/home-theater/6-series and see the "compare all models" section. A:AnswerIn short.
4 series - HDR 10 support but not HDR Dolby digital, which is more widely used. 60 hz panel with 120 hz motion interpolation (not as good as native 120). You gonna notice pixelation and some bluring on sports. 120-200 nits (brightness) based on two ratings site. Good for our bedrooms, was not bright enough for our living room. Would still recommend.
5 series - HDR 10 and HDR Dolby Digital support. Brightness peaks at 500-550 nits. The panel is still a 60 hz panel with 120 hz processing. We do not own one of these, but CNET states that if you don't need a brighter screen then opt for the 4 series bc the picture quality difference is nominal.
6 series - HDR 10 abd HDR Dolby Igital support. Brightness peaks above 1000 nits if you believe the rating sites. Great for a brighter living room, it handles light from my windows great. Although the panel does reflect light slightly more than the 4 series..... 120 hz panel with 240 hz processing. There is a noticeable difference as my 65 inch 6 series handles football better than the 4 series. The additional of 120 lighting zones. From what I can tell in real life this allows the TV to handle scenes with great veriation between darks and lights better. Meaning the whites won't make your darks grey out. It is noticable, although I didn't notice it much on my 4 series until it was sitting beside this set. HDR content is nothing short of amazing in this screen and is visually better than my 4 series. The casing around the screen looks much more upscale and looks to be a higher quality.
All have minimal input lag from PC's or gaming consoles which is an added bonus.
A:AnswerAt this time I have not been able to find a 2nd source for the enhanced BT remote, other than contacting TCL directly for a replacement (which you need the exact model # of the remote that you want) .
Since Bbuy does not (regrettably) carry the 615, they cannot be used as a source for the enhanced remote because they do not carry the model which uses it. It makes sense that they wouldn't support a product specific part for a product that they don't carry so I don't fault them for that. However there is obviously a growing untapped market for not only the 615 remote, but also for the 2017 model remote which includes the headphone jack.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, there is not a web browser available for the ROKU platform available to the public. There is a web browser app that is in beta. I downloaded it and found it to be virtually useless. Maybe one day.
A:AnswerCurrently, Amazon Alexa cannot control the functionality of the TCL Roku TVs. However, our TCL Roku TVs are now compatible with Google Assistant. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
