Should I use cat 5 or cat 6 cable for the hdmi hookup? null

Cat5 or 6 refers to the network. Not the HDMI. For HDMI I believe you want 2.1, but always get the latest out there, it’s not very expensive. As for the network, I got cat 8. May as well be prepared for the future.

Any newer high-speed HDMI cable should be sufficient for the HDMI ports. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
