Not behind but possibly above. My tv is on a south wall. The antenna is on the east wall.

We have mounted ours behind the TV, with just a small part showing, and it is working well.

Should be able to. The Antenna is 1 1/2 inches thick. It also requires a power cord.
Mine is aimed at Missouri City, Texas where most of the broadcasting transmitters are located.
Flat part towards the transmitters, so it will help if your TV is also orientated with the screen or back to the transmitters.

You definitely can… but keep in mind these are fairly thick antennas.  Also the being mounted to a wall your limited to the pointing angle, and TV may block the signal from reaching the antenna.
