• It means that it’s a digital copy of the game that gets downloaded to the gaming system. There is no disc/chip. They give/send you a code to enter and follow the steps to download the game permanently to you system. 1 benefit is that you do not need to enter a disc/chip every time you want to play.

• Digital means that u received a code and play directly on the system. You do not have cd o cartridge , you need memory on the system

• This version will come with an email code you download the game from Nintendo. When you purchase the physical copy, you have the actual cartridge to put in and out of the Switch itself.
