Hi CJ2539, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SGSXP305TS. This model gives you a good combination of both of the less expensive models that are $1899. It has two ExtraLow®Select simmer burners which provide precise simmering capabilities, the pedestal burners allow a hand or sponge to fit under each burner for easier cleaning, it has the QuickClean Base® with a teardrop emboss that reduces food buildup near the base and contains liquid spills for quick cleaning and the progressive illuminated light ring around each knob which indicates which burners are in use. Model:SGSP305TS has the quick clean base and the raised pedestal burners.Model:SGSX305TS has the two ExtraLow®Select simmer burners and the non pedestal star burners.
