“I just tested a 20-minute drive and the camera became very hot. The outside was 50 degrees, so it's not a weather-related issue. I'm concerned about using it for longer drives or leaving for parking recording. Will it burn or cause damages? Any advice?”

It does get very hot but ive had it installed for over a year and love it. I use it every time i drive. All the time. Its a great dash cam, and the quality is great
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The camera is design to exhaust some heat and unless you notice any smells or anything unusual, the high temps are normal. But it will not affect the operation of the product or cause any burning.
