• Hi there! The Thinkware Dashcam Link App is used to modify/configure the dashcam's settings, view its recording, and manage all other aspects of the dashcam. An Android or iOS phone is needed to be able to download this app.

• No. I've purchased 2 different types of models and they both required the thinkware app to set up. You can't view the clips without the app as well unless you take the SD card everytime and have a computer to view them.
