Yep it has parking mode when the hardwired kit is installed. You can choose from a few different settings in parking mode. Motion detection will record whenever the cameras see movement. If the car gets bumped, that will trigger a separate recording. The nice part is that it's buffered video so the recording starts from 10 seconds before the impact. It's not really continuous recording, but it will record whenever it sees movement or feels a bump.

The feature seems interesting. It detects impact and motion. It wakes up 1sec after the detection and record immediately for 20sec. You need to hardwire with DC lines for direct battery power to use the feature. I would love to hear your feedbacks esp. On the battery consumption if you happen to connect. Or if I have time I will try it myself and share.
