Does the camera record 24 hours null

Dash cams do not typically record all the time. If you go into the settings of the camera, you can adjust the area of PARKING MODE recording and the type of PARKING MODE you want. In PARKING MODE, the camera will go into a SLEEP mode and only "WAKE UP" when something comes into its field of vision or however you have it setup in the settings. It does continuously record when you are driving or the vehicle is running.
