If you're comfortable with splicing wires, I'd cut the cable about an inch behind the fuse holders, then splice in extra red and yellow wire (of at least the same gauge or one size larger)then reattach the fuse holders to connect to your car's power source. I would twist and solder the splices then heat shrink them, or use self-sealing heat shrink crimp on butt-connectors for best long term reliability
