i purchased the F800 Thinkware dash cam and the f800rear camera, i know that i need a hardwire in order for the camera to work in parking mode, but do i need two? one for the front camera and one for the rear? Or will the front power the rear camera? null

Just one hardwire. Your dual camera will come with the necessary connection to run power to both. But for the hardwire it’s 1. As if you were using the cugarette lighter.
