Hello! Thinkware dashcams recommended operating temperature are between 14°F and 140°F (-10°C to 60°C) and store the product at a temperature between -4°F and 158°F (-20°C to 70°C). The product may not function as designed and some permanent physical damages may result if it is operated or stored out of the specified temperature ranges. Such damages are not covered by the warranty.

Please try again later.First, if the ambient temperature is extreme like in Arizona, California, Nevada and other places, I would remove from the standard location and place out of the direct sun or remove from the vehicle all together. Secondly, doing the above steps is two fold, 1 it removes the risk of damage to the unit and fire hazard and 2, the risk of theft. Finally, I don’t know the specific specs on the highest temperature the unit could possibly get damaged, I wish I was more helpful. I would research manufacturers recommendations.
