Although some functions can be done with one hand it is made for use with two. There is a controller from Microsoft, Xbox adaptive controller, which can be used with one hand. The price of them are in the 100 dollar range. Hope that helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I know this answer of mine may be late, for a question from 4 years ago, but since I have a similar problem with my left hand, I'd suggest getting the Logitec Extreme 3D Pro joystick for about $40-50 if I'm not wrong it has a throttle/thruster included at the base and it's fully compatible with PC Windows and FSX - I can't speak for consoles, as a gamer, who never used one, I'm a firm believer in PC gaming rigs, not consoles it's not a great product - the Extreme 3D Pro - mainly because it's made of low-quality plastic parts, made in China most likely, that will wear fast in about 6 months of use, in my case, using NOT daily it's not great, but it will get the job done, for a while, kind of expensive in my opinion, but nothing is low cost after the plandemic that's why I'm here browsing other products to find a metal version of the HOTAS ThrustMaster
