A:AnswerNo it doesn’t show where you are. Most likely it will say out of range. The device is used to locate your items but you have to be close enough to them for it to register. Once you are close enough to it the trek the tile will ring.
A:AnswerI don't see why you couldn't. It's a size of a large dog tag. And you should be able to attach a keyring to their collar. But I don't think it would be quite as good as the dog gps tracker collars as I believe they map them rather than just find them.
A:AnswerOnly if your cat is within a certain distance. It says it has a 200ft range. After that it will not find the location. It is not a full GPS tracker, just a Bluetooth tracker.
A:AnswerDepending on how long he’s had it, the tile app should offer to send you a replacement battery. I got my first one a year ago and that’s what happened to me. I’d recommend reaching out to the tile people.
A:AnswerDirect Bluetooth connect/tracking average range is still about 50 feet for me.
You get an extended range if there are other Tile App users in the area, because the Tile App will ping all Tiles in the area, but only the registered Tile user gets to see/track their tiles.
Its like leap frogging/piggy backing....
This doesnt work for me all the time, but its a good feature to have when it works.
