To answer your question, the MiniMag is designed as a magnetic wireless power bank that attaches to your phone via MagSafe to charge your device, but the MiniMag must be recharged separately using the included USB-C cable. If you'd like to charge both your phone and the MiniMag simultaneously, we recommend first charging the MiniMag fully via the USB-C cable, then attaching it to your phone for wireless charging.
