Web cam audio not good on toshiba chromebook 2 When I try to have a video chat on web cam the person on the other computer says the audio is awful. What could be causing this problem?

I don't have that problem.

1) I don't know what you're using to make the video call
2) I don't know if you've tried to talk to other people and they responded with the same thing.

Try having a video call with someone else
Try using Google Hangouts or Skype

If you can't fix it then exchange it.

Internet speed. Make sure Chromebook is updated. Use a better quality Mic if using another mic other than Built in Mic.

I'm pretty sure it's the Internet connection speed. I was on travel for a week and used Google Hangouts to chat with my wife. Sometimes the voice/video was awesome and sometimes it was mediocre...depended on the WiFi connection.
