Hello, Thank you very much for your interest in our new Fire TV Edition TV. To address your inquiry I'm glad to let you know that this TV does include a sleep timer for your convenience. To access this, press and hold the Home button on your remote and select 'Sleep Timer' from the list to access this feature. Arely R. - Toshiba Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you have to long press the home button (like 3-4 seconds) to find the menu though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, just double click the home button
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The TV has a sleep function but it does not work with Alexa or with the Voice Control function of the TV's Remote. Another shopper noted how clunky it was to get there: click Home, got over to Settings, click Settings, go over to Sleep Timer, click Sleep timer, select the time. After some time with Amazon customer service today, I have additional information and an improved way to deal with this. On the remote control, if you press and Hold the home button for 5 seconds, a menu list will appear on the lower right side of the screen. You can select sleep timer from there and set the amount of time you want. This will occur without the system going back to the Home page; your program continues to play. It is not perfect but IMO is substantially better than what I was doing before.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The better answer is, it does have a sleep timer but it's a real bear to navigate. I counted 21 clicks via remote I had to go through to set the timer up for 30 minutes off. Not very convenient. Alexa is the helper you might think can do it you but she can't. When you say, "Turn on Sleep timmer", she will answer and ask how long. "30 minutes". Alexa says, "This is not currently supported". I'm not happy about that and I wish there was another way around it because the remote is not easy to work in the dark especially when you're having to press that many times trying to get where you really want to go. It's convoluted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, automatically turns off when no activity after two or three hours. Will notify you before shutting off. But If your sleeping it turns off
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a sleep timer but when it shuts off it leaves a blue dot in the middle of the screen. Only way to shut off the blue dot is to turn off the tv manually.
