Yes, you can still watch cable television on this tv.

Yes. I have Xfinity cable box hooked to this TV on HDMI1 connector. It also has an antenna input - not tried yet as I am 60 miles from TV stations. Non-HD stations, in the 300 channel range at my house, appear a fair to a bit below fair quality. HD channels appear good. I do not have any 4K cable channels so don't know quality.
