“Why is the sound choppy & distorted when I pair the tv to an echo (2nd gen)? Audio is fine when I stream music services thru the echo, or bluetooth my phone to it. Sync screen after pairing to tv sounds terrible when holding mic button to sync tv to echo.”

To pair your Fire TV Edition television with your Alexa enabled device (i.e. Echo) use the Alexa app: If you use the smartphone app go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Video and TV > Fire TV And follow the on-screen instructions. David M. - Toshiba Support
