• If you download 3rd party apps like Airscreen then yes you can screen mirror but it doesn't have it built-in.

• You should be able to cast to the TV using a casting app, the best one is Web Video Caster. I have a Fire Stick and Chromecast and I can cast to both through that app. It also will let you cast picture and videos from your phone to the TV. Give it a try, I'm sure you will love it! To me, especially these days, the ability to cast is an absolute MUST! No cast = no deal! Ha
