“I purchased a 50" Toshiba and set it up. I have my DISH hooked to it and I am also using a HDMI cable. Is there anyway that I can program the TV so that I do not have to use the Toshiba remote and tell it to use the HDMI connection?”

• You can try the Power On feature, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input. Alan O. - Toshiba Support

• Plug the HDMI cable from your Dish box into the HDMI 1 port. It should say ARC next to it. Then gol into your settings and find the input settings. Turn on the HDMI CEC option.
