- Answer Super easy to set up! Just enter your password and the tv pretty much guides you thru everything else! I have cable and switching back and forth between the 2 was also easy. I’m actually thinking about removing cable and just sticking to amazon prime and buying Netflix or Disney plus!

- Answer It’s optional. But for me,I connected the Polk sound bar which was suggested to me by an associate of Best Buy when I was making the purchase of my TV . I remember one of the associates of Best Buy suggested I should go for go for Polk sound bar because I asked for his advice on the choice of sound bar that would give me the desired sound I want,and I did not regret it ‘cos it gave me theatre experience in terms of sound. I love it.i would equally suggest it JB

QuestionI purchased a 50" Toshiba and set it up. I have my DISH hooked to it and I am also using a HDMI cable. Is there anyway that I can program the TV so that I do not have to use the Toshiba remote and tell it to use the HDMI connection?

- Answer The app TV Cast for Toshiba does not work with the Fire TV Edition television. If you want to Cast content you will have to connect a Chromecast device. You can download the Amazon Fire TV app on your Smartphone to control your Fire TV Edition television. You can download apps on this TV, for example Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney + and many more. QuestionI just set up my new Fire TV & things went smoothly. However, I cannot get the Echo Dot that came with it to sync up. I went to the Alexa app on my iPhone, Settings, TV & Video, hit the + button on Fire TV but Alexa doesn't pair. What have I done wrong?

- Answer If the signal is from an Antenna, you could try to change the aspect ratio, long press the home button for 3 seconds to launch the Quick Access menu, select Display settings to adjust the Picture Size and Aspect Ratio. If the movie is from an app, the Picture Size and Aspect ratio options will not be available because the app is already sending a full screen picture. David M. - Toshiba Support
