• Yes, the Fire TV Edition television has a built-in ATSC Tuner with Clear QAM; NTSC. Connect an antenna to watch free over-the-air broadcasts from your local channels. To do a Channel Scan go to: Home > Settings > Live TV > Channel Scan. David M. - Toshiba Support

• Yes it'll scan for channels after initial setup is competed.
