• If your DVR has either a Composite Video (yellow) or S-Video output, you can record content on your DVR to a DVD. Be aware that many programs on premium channels have copy-protection embedded in the signal that will prevent you from making a copy.

• Yes, Just wire it up to the sound and video 'In' ports on the back of the system
