• I was told that you could not purchase it without windows 8. I agree that this PC would be great without Windows 8 but it is still a good computer. Best alternative if you don't like Windows 8 is to buy a Mac Pro but they are much more expensive.

• I was reluctant to get the laptop with windows 8, but found a simple fre program that converts the desktop to windows 7 (and can still ccess the Windows 8 platform if needed)...... Sold!
