“How to open case in order to find DIMM sockets to increase RAM? I'd like to increase RAM from 8 to 16GB of DDR3L, but I want to be cautious when unscrewing bottom of case. Does is detach (like using a guitar pin), or does is slide? (and to where). Thanks.”

• Thanks for your question. The memory in this laptop is not user upgradeable.

• After you opened it up, was there a single 8 GB card or 2 x 4? Do you know what the max supported by the motherboard is?

• after removing the screws the bottom snaps off. I used a credit card to separate the bottom panel from the laptop.
