• Theoretically you can use one smart and one traditional 3-way switch in the same 3-way circuit. However, you must ensure the smart 3-way switch is installed on the "Power" side of the circuit for proper operation.

• There are two switches in set. However at the end of the setup you will disable "smart/wifi" functions in one of them. It act as regular 3 way switch. Its tempting to try install only one and keep non smart 3 way on the other end. I didn't do that since I bought all the sets I needed.
