Exactly the same. I am at an airbnb for 3 months and set up a little office in my bedroom. The router was out in the living room. I bought one of these, connected one adapter to the router and plugged it into a powerbar, the other in the bedroom outlet and a small 4 port switch and voila, a wired connection for my internet phone which requires one as well as my laptop which I prefer over w/l if available. If you need a wired connection, there is no easier, more cost-effective way to get one in another part of the house... HTH
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As I understand it, Ethernet connection is always more reliable. I purchased this to boost my WiFi through Lathe and Plaster walls of older home. Utilizes the home wiring to boost signal. I DID plug directly into outlet (not an extension cord) I wireless connected the first one to my modem ,I DID need to connect the other one with ethernet cable to my smart television that uses a Roku Device. I am not even sure the plugs are on the same circuit yet Works perfectly and solves my problem. Good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. They work well for me. My house is not wired for the internet, So I am using three of these power adaptors to get a wired internet connection to direct TV boxes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Addendum, I did also connect the modem/router to the first adapter as well, not wirelessly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely doesn’t work. My WiFi signal was stronger then the eithernet.
