Yes, as long as both Powerline adapters are plugged directly into wall outlets, and your house and garage are on the same main circuit/panel. Please note that this kit does not have WiFi capabilities. If you would like WiFi, we suggest one of our Powerline WiFi kits instead, such as the TL-WPA4220 Kit. Regards, TP-Link Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The beat way for power line adapter to work is when they are on the same circuit. If they are not on the same circuit they will still work, but you will see a drop in signal strength.

SHOULD YOU NOT POSSESS THIS TYPE OF UNIT WIRING, YOU CAN ONLY RUN A JOINT DEVICE CONNECTION THROUGH THE HOUSE OR GARAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A CALL NOR RECEPTION BETWEEN THE HOUSE AND OTHER FRESH NETWORKS OF WIRING CAN'T OCCUR! Unfortunately, the wiring for a home and its garage are indeed seperate, thus you will NOT be able to use these devices for a good hook-up! The reason for the seperateness of the wiring is simply for any total stress or overload to the system, which can be brought forth by unattended switches and automatic or timed appliances like water heaters and air conditioners! Not to mention Garage door openers and refrigerators or freezers! THIS IS NOT MENTIONING THAT SOME OF THESE APPLIANCES CANNOT FAIL BY ANYKIND OF ELECTRICAL DISTURBANCE, yet in conpliance of law! D.L.
